Time Perception in Different Species and Size-Related Differences
Animals perceive time at different rates depending on their size, metabolism, and lifestyle. Smaller animals with faster metabolic rates, such as flies and dragonflies, can perceive changes in their environment at much higher frequencies - up to 300 times per second.
